Late afternoon Robin Hoods Bay

Today I was out with the North York Moors National Park Voluntary Rangers on a work task at Robin Hoods Bay. We replaced five worn out steps leading down to the 'Quarter Deck' from the Cleveland Way in the morning. A festive lunch was taken on the 'Quarter Deck' before we cut back vegetation on the Cleveland Way between Robin Hoods Bay and Boggle Hole. As we were returning to Bay, the sun was going down on the village, I couldn't resist a photograph. The 'Quarter Deck' is the short promenade in the right foreground.
