Storm Frank

On the edge of the storm

Thinking today about all the poor people who have been affected by the recent flooding. Is it worth bothering to clear up, knowing that with 'Storm Frank' approaching, it could all happen again? We are lucky this time, living in the east of the country, just a bit of rain, strong winds and the advantage of not living near a river. We have some large beech trees at the bottom of our garden and as I looked out of the window at them swaying, I was drawn into thoughts of 'Mother Nature' and the elements. It doesn't matter what we do, the forces of nature will always win. So my picture shows the force of the wind at work.
