Today was the 'switch-on' of Driffield's Christmas lights. I was busy at tea-time when they were turned on, so had to go out in the wind and rain after tea. By the time we walked into town and probably due to the weather, a lot of the stalls were packing up. Most people had either gone home or were seeking refuge in the local pubs. It did mean that it was quiet when I decided to take a shot of the Christmas tree at 8.05pm on hand held night scene mode.
